ABOUT ME
HI, I'M LISA!
I'm a photographer, writer, storyteller, travel blogger, licensed NYC tour guide, social media manager and
marketing/public relations specialist. And oh, a foodie too!
I work on a freelance, contract, remote, part-time or project basis.
Lisa's Journey combines services that are all a part of my journey in my career and personal life.
I have over 17 years of experience in the arts/entertainment/theatre and hospitality industries,
and over the past 13 years, I have traveled solo to many places which have been inspirational and led to personal growth.
Inspiration for Lisa's Journey came about as a result of travel experiences that impacted my life, primarily my first trip to Sicily
when I was nine years old with my father and great-grandmother to visit her hometown and our relatives.
I would later travel solo there (over 20 years later) to reconnect with my family and my roots.
My love for photography started as a kid on that first trip to Sicily. Using a small Kodak camera that my mother gave me, I would capture special moments with family and my cultural experiences there, and later in life, would learn the power of a photograph when I would look at the photos I took and cherish the memories that came with them. I would later use some of these photos to reconnect with my family
there in person after over two decades.
Through my services, I hope to inspire, educate, motivate and inform individuals, communities and organizations
whether it be on their personal or business journey.
